Rita C. Thibault (principal) has been appraising commercial real estate since 1986. She appraised her first retirement residence in 1994 and has specialized exclusively in the valuation of seniors’ housing and health care facilities since 2000. Prior to relocating to British Columbia in 1990, Rita was a corporate appraiser for John Labatt Limited in London, Ontario, and was involved in numerous acquisitions, insurance reviews and assessment appeals across North America. She holds the AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Steve Deserre began his career in commercial real estate valuation in Montreal in 1986, while attending university. He graduated from the McGill Commerce program with concentrations in finance and in real estate investment analysis, and is an accredited member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI designation). Since early 2003, he has specialized exclusively in the valuation of seniors’ housing and health care facilities, covering the full spectrum of housing types including congregate retirement, assisted living, licensed nursing homes, campuses of care and other specialized facilities.
Charlotte Ciok has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. She graduated with an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and an Urban Land Diploma from the University of British Columbia. Charlotte holds the AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada, the MRICS designation from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the RI designation from The Real Estate Institute of British Columbia. Prior to joining Westbridge Group, Charlotte completed a broad assortment of appraisal assignments including seniors housing facilities, income producing office, warehouse, industrial and retail properties, mixed use commercial and multi-family residential developments, land, and the valuation of resort type properties such as golf courses, hotels and marinas. Over the last three years, Charlotte has specialized in seniors housing and health care facilities.
